Objectives:
- To carry forward and implement the ideas proposed by Prof. Sobhindran to the new generation.
- To undertake and implement environmental protection activities.
- To plant and nurture tree saplings.
- To work towards carbon neutrality.
- To undertake and implement water body conservation activities.
- To combat air pollution.
- To engage in activities that create environmental awareness among students.
- To promote art and literary forms necessary for environmental protection.
- To ensure the community has access to poison-free food.
- To undertake and implement soil conservation activities.
- To strive to mitigate conflicts between humans and wildlife.
Membership:
The organization will have two types of membership.
- Lifetime Membership:
A one-time membership fee of Rs. 1000.
No annual fee is required.
Only lifetime members will have voting rights.
The Executive Committee and office bearers will be elected from the lifetime members.
- Regular Membership:
A membership fee of Rs. 100 and an annual fee of Rs. 100.
Regular members can participate in all activities of the organization but will not have voting rights.
They are not eligible to be elected to the Executive Committee or as office bearers.
b)Memberships taken after the formation of the Executive Committee will only be valid if approved by the Executive Committee.
